Description

The Ranch at Rock Creek
In rugged Montana ranchland southeast of Missoula, lies The Ranch at Rock Creek—a traditional, luxury ranch that brings together wide open spaces and upscale amenities like never before. Located on over 6600 acres of lush hay meadows and rolling foothills set off by distant snow-capped peaks, this stunning destination delivers a classic ranch experience in a setting far from the clamour of the big city. Guests will
discover that The Ranch at Rock Creek is a place that offers the feel of the ‘true West’ without sacrificing true comfort.

Accommodation
The Ranch at Rock Creek features a nine-room Granite Lodge, five bedroom Bear House, three-bedroom River House, three-bedroom Moose House, Bluebird Cabin, The Loft, Wrangler, The Bunkhouse, eight Luxury Riverside Canvas Cabins, and Trapper, a unique half-canvas, half-wood accommodation. Interior spaces and rooms are individually decorated and appointed with a unique combination of Western antiques and custom furniture to reflect an authentic Montana ranch with high-end sensibility.

Luxury Riverside Canvas Cabins
For some, the definitive experience at The Ranch is to stay in one of the eight Luxury Canvas Cabins. Yards from Rock Creek, these accommodations offer the best way to feel a part of nature without sacrificing comfort. They are individually furnished in a rustic camp style, with canvas walls and wood framing, grand log beds with luxurious bedding, elegant rugs, and gas fireplaces. Private baths, each associated with a specific canvas cabin, are located at the end of a short walkway. Connected to the walkway and overlooking the river is each canvas cabin’s screened-in deck.

The Granite Lodge and dining
The Granite Lodge sits on a small ridge just west of Rock Creek and is the primary home base during a visit to The Ranch. The great room and the dining room are located here, as well as the Silver Dollar Saloon, the four-lane bowling alley, pool table, and great hall. Also located here is The Spa offering an array of professional treatments.

Outdoor Activities
The Ranch at Rock Creek is designed with individual tastes, preferences, and needs in mind, and the recreational opportunities are almost limitless. Horseback riding on trails that weave among our 6000+ acres, fly fishing over four miles of Blue Ribbon Rock Creek, fishing the stocked trout ponds, hiking, wildlife watching, mountain biking, sporting clays, archery, paintball, rafting, hot air ballooning over the Rocky
Mountains, photo safaris and more...

Excursions off-site include float trips to nearby rivers, explorations of regional historical sites, and golf at The Old Works Jack Nicklaus designed course. Or, a journey to the town of Philipsburg will introduce a unique western Montana experience with its sloping Main Street, charming shops, and interesting architecture. Western ghost towns, historical sites, and more can also be explored in the surrounding areas.

The Spa
Rejuvenation and relaxation are a part of the total experience at The Ranch at Rock Creek, with professional massage therapy treatments available in the dedicated five-room spa inside the stone-and-timber Granite Lodge.

Swedish deep tissue massage, warm mountain rock treatments, high-tech or all-natural facials, and the signature ‘Rock Creek Ritual’ are always welcome after a vigorous day outdoors. Hair and nail styling is also available.

The Saloons
There are two saloons at The Ranch at Rock Creek, each providing a venue for games and tall tales after dinner. The saloon in the great room of the Granite Lodge is where before-dinner cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are enjoyed, and the Silver Dollar Saloon in the north wing boasts billiards, darts, ping-pong, shuffleboard, karaoke, a 14-foot HD television screen, and a four-lane bowling alley.

These are some of the highlights of a trip in Montana – but remember, this is a tailor-made journey and the pace can build as you wish. This is no ordinary adventure…
